Sectional Center Facility (SCF), are the first three digits of a zip code. They are used by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to represent areas larger than a single zip code.
Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) are cities or urbanized areas in the United States with populations of 50,000 or more.
2016 Census Test
The U.S. Census Bureau plans to conduct census tests in selected areas within Harris County, Texas, and Los Angeles County, Calif., in 2016. The tests will refine new procedures and methods designed to improve census operations and save taxpayers’ money for the 2021 census.
